End of Year Recognition and Breakfast Call to Order 9:37

Treasurer Report shared: Balanced Budget for May: $5,808.16
Recognitions:
Barb Paulsen, (outgoing president) shared her immense thanks and appreciation for the Board and the Membership and ALL their participation and enthusiasm in helping to make the Garden Club a welcoming, growing, and successful FH Club!
76 households joined this year!
Balanced Budget for the 2025-26 fiscal year.
Fundraising endeavors were very successful.
Meetings and Events were well received and attended.
The Scholarship Committee recognized Elizabeth “Lizzie” Steinman, a Senior at Epiphany School of Global Studies as our scholarship winner. Lizzie will be studying Biology at Florida State University in the Fall and she expressed her sincere gratitude to the Garden Club. Thank you to Lizzie and her mother, Elaine Steinman, for joining us to celebrate!
The Board recognized Cheryl McGaskill, former president, for all her years of participation and leadership in the garden club. Cheryl is moving to South Carolina; we wish her well!
The New Board for the 2026-27 Year was installed, Hazel Alcock presider.

The Board recognized Barb Paulsen, our current president, for her dedication, tireless effort, and unmatched enthusiasm as she led the Garden Club for the past two years in becoming a strong and vibrant club in our growing community. THANK YOU BARB!!
End of Year Reminders:
Dues will remain at $20 per household. Must be paid by September 30, 2026 to be included in the Yearbook. If you paid dues at the June meeting, money/checks will not be deposited until July, as that is the end of our fiscal year.
Suggestions made on the Comment Cards will be taken into consideration by the Board over the summer, as they plan for the 2026-27 year.
Jan Reitzel shared a “Pinecone” craft fundraiser that she will be chairing. Members who signed up, will be contacted with information regarding several opportunities throughout the summer to participate in making these items, to be sold at the FH Fall
Craft Fair, and the money will go towards our scholarship fund. If you did not sign up and are interested in helping, please contact Jan Reitzel at [email protected]
Robin Gale, our new president, will be contacting members who signed up to help at meetings, to get together at the beginning of September, in order to work out what is needed to best help meetings to run smoothly. Such as set-up, door prizes, and tear-
down. Thank you to all those members willing to share your time and talents!
