Annual Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Fairfield Harbour Garden Club Scholarship was established to encourage students to further their education in a field of study related to agriculture, agri-business management, botany, environmental studies, forestry, horticulture, or landscaping. The Scholarship, of $1000.00, is awarded annually. Applications are accepted in the spring for fall of the same year.

APPLICATION CRITERIA

The applicant shall:

1. Be accepted or already enrolled at a college, university, or community college
2. Have a minimum grade point average of 2.0
3. Submit a completed application to the Fairfield Harbour Garden Club Scholarship Chairperson.

FUNDING PROCESS

Monetary awards for scholarship winners will be sent directly to the college/university/community college once the student is registered and assigned a student ID number. That number should be provided to the Fairfield Harbour Garden Club Treasurer by August 1. (Treasurer information will be provided to the scholarship recipient.)
